Erin & Rena's Seiji No Hi

About three weeks ago, I got a direct message on my instagram from Erin. I was so excited once I knew that Erin (and her friend, Rena) wanted a photoshoot of their coming age of day, 成人の日 (Seijin No Hi), on January 9th in Hiroshima area.

I mean, taking pictures of two beautiful girls in their beautiful-colorful-expensive furisode kimonos? Heck yes! :)

Erin and Rena's Seijin Shiki (coming of age ceremony) was held in Hiroshima Sun Plaza (across Al Park Mall), but the photo session was taken at a cute japanese garden which actually was just next to the plaza.

Check some gorgeous pictures of Erin and Rena below! :)

I started with taking Rena's pictures, while Evany (whom I invited to join this shoot) took Erin's pictures.

And these are few from Erin's!

Gah... Aren't they gorgeous?! And their kimonos are just sooo.. pretty!!!

We, of course, did their both pictures!

And hi-five for officially being an adult! ;)

Thank you Erin, Rena, and Rena's parents! I had so much fun during this photoshoot (I know Evany loved this experience, too!), I hope you guys like the pictures, and I'm looking forward to meet you all back in west coast! :)

Cheers,
Nizar

The Martin Family | Newborn Lifestyle

It was raining the day we're shooting. I was worried that we wouldn't get good lighting inside the house. But man was I really glad the rain stopped, the sun shined, and we got some amazing natural light.

Here are few sneak peek from The Martins' session. Isn't Ms. Jade gorgeous??? Aaaahhh...

I also got a chance to took few pictures at Ms. Jade's nursery room.

All pictures in this nursery room was taken with Fuji Film XT1 + Fujinon 23mm f/1.4. I'm pretty happy with the outcomes of my new 23mm lens! :)

Don't forget about Freddy, Jade's fur brother :) He's gorgeous and did amazing during the session, which maybe he was thinking that this session was for him. LOL

Oh, love me some gorgeous lifestyle sessions!!! <3

Last but not least, happy holidays for you all! Be safe and hope you all enjoy these wonderful times with your loved ones!

Xoxo

Ms. Paige Rogers | Newborn

I'm currently sitting to blog this session at the Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok, Thailand. I finally get somewhat decent internet connection now after 8 days traveling in Thailand. So I apologize if I haven't replied your messages or emails.

Anyway, I've been wanting to share Ms. Paige's session since forever, but well.. the connection was killing me. LOL

So here you go, the sneak peek from Ms. Paige's. Isn't she adorable? :)

Duy & Faiza | Urban Tokyo Session

I just realized that I haven't shared the images from one of my favorite sessions ever, like ever! :)

While the husband was meeting and learning from other jugglers at the annual Japan Juggling Festival, I as a photographer enjoyed Tokyo by taking pictures. So so many amazing and interesting subjects in Tokyo! Been there for four (or maybe five) times, but it just feels never enough. Maybe this is the sign that we need to go back to any US military Base in Japan, esp the one near Tokyo, ex: Yokota or Zama. LOL

Anyway, I met Duy and Faiza, who came from Fussa area, at the Harajuku station. As always, the area was insanely packed!

After Faiza changed her outfit to a beautiful Saree, we headed to Meiji Shrine as our first location. Well, it's of course also crowded, we somehow managed to get some empty spots for pictures, though! :)

We just couldn't leave Harajuku without taking a few quick pictures at the Harajuku street, of course!!

We, then, moved to our second location...
The most famous crossing in the world, SHIBUYA CROSSING! Say whaaaaat???! :)

Before we took pictures, Faiza told me that they are going to do the Mari Cart after the photoshoot. They basically are going to drive a cart around Tokyo in a costume! Oh my!!
I of course begged to tag along with them to the Mari Cart place!

I mean.....

I mean.....

I'll blog about the Mari Cart later! You definitely don't want to miss it! :)

Anyway, it was such a fun day with Duy and Faiza! I hope they enjoyed their time with me, and most of all like their pictures! :)

Cheers,
Nizar

The Hackworth Family | Iwakuni Fall 2016

With my crazy traveling schedule during November I'm so glad that the rain held out until this session done!

This family might be one of the most easiest clients ever, not to mention they are beautiful too!

Here are some images from The Hackworths' session :)

Ryan Bronislaw Larsen II | Newborn

Since the Larsens chose Fresh48 session as their newborn package, so instead in-studio session, the shoot was taken at the hospital and at the nursery room.

Check some images from their session below.

Nine days later, I went to their house to take the lifestyle session. Oh, let me tell you about their house, it's amaaaaazing! It's clean, detail, and well-designed.
I'm jealous! :)

So here are some pictures at the Larsens'..

Oh the grandparents! :)

I also did a quick snaps for Ms. Summer's room...

Siena Loraine DiBlasi | Newborn

Ms. Siena was sooo good during her session!!

I was so happy that I could do all three different sets plus parents shoots in less than 2 hours!

Proofing has delivered, birth announcement cards have ordered, then here are some pictures from Ms. Siena's session..

And those who have been following my newborn sessions or were my newborn clients know exactly that I LOVE babies' details.

And Ms. Siena with mommy and daddy....

Amilia is ONE | Smashcake Session

It's been always a pleasure working with this family. Again, I love how Rachel knew what she wanted this session, and prepared it very well.

This session was taken at one of my fav parks in Iwakuni, Nagayama Park. It's a small yet pretty park, and it's close from the Base!

Anyway, below are few pictures from Amilia's session. What a happy baby girl!

Time to clean up, shall we? :)

This is the only image that I edited with this style as I think this image suits this editing.

Nina Stewart | Newborn

I'm a bit behind from blogging as I have so many things on my plate lately, plus I sprained my ankle about three weeks ago and still recovery for it. Some of my friends kept saying that I injured because of my art. LOL

Anyway, Ms. Nina was 6 days old when I took her newborn pictures. Look at some cute pictures of her below!

And of course my fav part of a newborn session, baby details...!

The Fallon Family | Change of Command MALS-12

My third Change of Command this year!

I have to admit this CoC was quite bit challenging because of the location and the time: It was in the open field at 10 a.m (a super bright day!), two things that every photographer tries to avoid, but I'm glad it went well!

Here are some pictures from the CoC MALS-12. And congratulation for The Fallon family!

The Reneau Family | Change of Command

I had an honor to photograph VMFA (AW) 242 Change of Command for LtCol Jabari J. Reneau last Friday, May 13th 2016.

Congratulation again for the Reneau family!

The Brickmans | Cherry Blossom 2016

OH MY GOD! That's all I wanted to say about this family's session. I felt so bad as my clients today (including me) got stuck at the traffic! It seems all people in Japan went to Kintai today. It took me almost 1,5 hrs to get to Kintai, which normally only 15-20 minutes.

But anyway, I'm glad they made it! Although.. I'm still can't believe that Carol forgot to put the right shoes on Leah as she wore flip flop today, hence I asked her to pose without the sandals a couple times. HUFH! Lol

Here are some shots from The Brickmans' session today.

The Schmidts | Cherry Blossom 2016

This was the first session of my Cherry Blossom's session 2016. Their original date was supposed to be tomorrow, but duty called hence they needed to change the date. But it worked well.

Here are some of my faves from their session.

PS: I love love love the fact that the kiddos really know how to pose now! :)

And this "Mommy and Me" moment might be one of my fave images ever! Color or BW, I can't decide as I love them both!

Bobby, 3 Months Old | Milestone

Yesterday was an awesome day in my studio. After had an easy session with China-chan, I got a chance to work with Bobby. This stud was just amazing! He was smiling and laughing during this quick session.

These are some of my fav shots of Bobby!

~Nizar

This last one cracks me up as he looks like saying, "Heeeeeey.. ENOUGH!" LOL
